Tour itinerary:

Day 01: Malang or Surabaya to Mt Bromo 

  • Our staff will pick you up from Malang or Surabaya at night time/ around at 21:00 – 24:00PM (please let us know where we have to meet you) and then we drive slowly to reach parking area in Mount Bromo with an vehicle or van with AC. You may stop on the way for having meals, coffee or tea at local restaurant or go to the public toilet during on the way to Mt. Bromo

Day 02: Bromo Tours – Motocross Tours to Savannah - Ijen Crater Hotel 

  • Around 2:30 am, we arrive at the parking area of Mt. Bromo and continue by 4WD jeep to Mount Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera (about 45 minutes). From there, we walk to the viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular sunrise overlooking Mount Bromo and the active Mount Semeru in the background. If the weather is clear, the sunrise creates stunning light and shadow across the mountains. After sunrise, the jeep takes us across the sea of sand to the Bromo parking area, where you can cross the sand by horse or on foot and climb more than 250 stairs to reach the crater rim.

  • Around 7:30 am, we continue by motocross to the Savanna (Teletubbies Hill), crossing the beautiful sand sea surrounded by mountains. After a short break and photo session, we head to a hotel or restaurant in the Bromo area for breakfast. The journey then continues by private car to the Ijen Crater area (about 5–6 hours), passing rural landscapes, small towns, rice fields, plantations, and beaches. Lunch is served at a local restaurant along the way. By late afternoon or early evening, we arrive at your hotel near Ijen Crater for an overnight stay before the Ijen trekking the next morning.

Optional tour program during when you leave Mount Bromo:  If you still have enough time & the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to visit Madakaripura waterfall during the way from Bromo to your hotel in Ijen Crater area but for entrance tickets & local guide at Madakaripura waterfall will be your own cost. Day 03: Ijen Crater Tours –Ferry Port - your Hotel in Bali 

  • The trip begins with pickup from your accommodation in the Ijen area at 00:30–01:00 am, followed by a drive to the Ijen Crater parking area. From there, you will hike for approximately 2.5–3 hours to reach the summit of Mount Ijen, with the opportunity to witness the famous blue fire phenomenon (weather permitting), enjoy the sunrise, and admire the stunning turquoise sulfur lake.

  • 06:00–07:00 am: Descend back to the parking area and take a short rest. After that, drive back to your accommodation (homestay/hotel) for breakfast, a shower, and loading your luggage into the car.
     
  • 10:00–11:00 am: Depart from your accommodation and continue the journey to your hotel in Bali, which takes approximately 5.5–6.5 hours via the Java–Bali ferry crossing. Drop-off service is available for Bali areas such as Canggu, Kerobokan, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud. Upon arrival at your hotel, the Bromo–Ijen Crater tour service from Malang or Surabaya is completed.

Note: If the weather is not good, you feel tired, or night climbing is not permitted, the standard Ijen Crater tour can start around 02:30 am without visiting the blue fire.

Optional program for Blue Fire Ijen Tours: If the weather is good enough, you will have a chance to see blue fire & sunrise at Ijen Crater but you are required to leave from the hotel around at 12:00pm (midnight) and there will be extra cost for mining worker who will lead us to see blue fire at Ijen Crater (you can pay him on the site).  Please check the picture of blue fire at Ijen Crater as attached
